Cancer Outreach

Through travel assistance, treatment support, and compassionate care, the Cancer Outreach Program stands with patients throughout their journey.

A cancer diagnosis is life-changing. For Eastern Sierra residents, distance from specialized treatment adds another layer of stress—travel, lodging, meals, and time away from home.

Mammoth Hospital’s Cancer Outreach Program, funded entirely by donations, helps ease that burden by supporting patients who must travel for care and by strengthening cancer services closer to home through the hospital’s infusion center.

In 2024, the program provided $76,000 in financial assistance to 40 patients, ensuring access to lifesaving treatment when it mattered most.

Founded in honor of Brian Venneman, whose own cancer journey required travel far from home, the program continues his legacy of compassion and community support.

A gift of $4,000 can support a patient during active treatment.
A gift of $1,500 helps ensure ongoing monitoring during remission.

Your support helps make sure no one in our community faces cancer alone—or has to travel the road without help.
